Missed our October Newsletter? Here are the main takeaways

The latest edition of our monthly customer newsletter dropped on Thursday, 3 October.

Missed it in your inbox or not signed up to our mailing list yet? No worries. We’ve got you covered. Here are the main takeaways we dropped in our latest newsletter dispatch.

  1. Version 1.7 of the SPC Connect mobile app is now available: The latest version of the SPC Connect mobile app is now available on the Apple App Store and the Google Playstore. The app contains a number of new enhancements. These include an intuitive “Push to Talk” method, as well as Live Image support for Eventys video system when using it through SPC Connect. Read the full range of enhancements to the mobile app here.
  2. New range of SPC Wireless devices released: Additional devices to Vanderbilt’s enhanced wireless portfolio have been released. These include a new Wireless signal repeater plug, a range of sounders, beacons and accessories. To support this range of products, SPC 3.10 firmware is required. Check out the full product announcement document to view the full range of new devices available.
  3. The Akuvox IP Door Entry Phones are a new addition to the Vanderbilt portfolio: The Akuvox portfolio has a range of solutions to cover needs for single occupancy buildings, or multi-tenant office and residential buildings. With cloud and mobile apps, Akuvox offers a cloud intercom system that allows for smartphone video calling and unlocking, the issuing of temporary keys via QR Code (R29 Only), and a centralized remote property maintenance system. Download our product announcement to learn everything you need to know about this amazing addition to our product portfolio.
  4. Upcoming features to the webshop: A new product hierarchy is being developed and will be implemented in the coming weeks in each webshop. The restructuring will enhance your user experience when completed, and the focus is on how to compile ‘Systems’ rather than individual products. You will already see that multiple products have had their images updated on the webshop in the past week and we are continuing that work to ensure all images (where necessary and possible) are up to date by year-end. We will be adding ComNet products to the webshop in early 2020.
  5. Updated Terms & Conditions: As of 1 October 2019, we have updated our Terms and Conditions. Please review your copy here.
